TOPIC: THE LORD HAS HEARD THE VOICE FOR MY WEEPING - PSALM 6:8
Synopsis :
Its takes very special person to be a caregiver to a cancer patient undergoing treatment. Often the journey is long, sometimes weeks, months and even years. Daily sitting in the ICU praying and crying to God as you see your son lying in the ICU waiting for the vital signs to be stabilised.
Munching on the bread that you brought along because you don't want to miss the arrival of the doctor with the good news.
Appearing bold and optimistic before your spouse because you can’t
breakdown in front of him and you are in
the first trimester. Oh God is my baby
at risk ? I can't avoid contact with him? Oh God is this a full stop for us ?
When caregiver recipient is too weak to say or cannot say thank you to you when you are there to ensure that he is comfortable during the weekends and holidays .
“Weeping is the eloquence of
sorrow. It is an unstammering orator, needing no interpreter, but understood of
all." ( Charles Spurgeon )
Your tear has a voice. God cares so much of the tears of a caregiver
that He catches every one of the tears in a bottle
